Our history
BioVectis is a trade mark of Kucharczyk TE Ltd founded in 1992. As a Life Sciences Company, BioVectis develops innovative technology, products that target and serve discovery and clinical research, and molecular diagnostics. Over the years the service offering mutation screening has been introduced and become the main core of the company.
The company was founded by Krzysztof Kucharczyk, PhD, who is the present CEO of the company. After many years of work in academia the first model of the proprietary DNA PointerR System has been developed.
BioVectis Ltd. is located in Warsaw, in the heart of the biggest bio-campus in Poland, being accessible to scientists across Europe. Our customers are biomedical, scientific and clinician teams as well as forensic laboratories.
In 2001 innovative Multitemperature Single Strand Conformation Polymorphism (MSSCP) method for genetic variation discovery and detection has been invented (Electrophoresis 2001, 22:3539-3545).
