GeneWake technology:

for each study GeneWake first looks into available information to design a panel of so-called "sentinel genes"

"sentinel genes" are genes which are influenced on their expressional level, if an upstream event occurs (e.g. mutation or phosphorylation)

the expressional changes of "sentinel genes" form patterns that allow – to a certain degree – the pinpointing of the source in a pathway likely to have an alteration
And now BioVectis steps into the project. Drug-resistant mutants are detected and analyzed in detail using DNAPointer® System. Comprehensive collaboration of BioVectis and GeneWake can find the source and provide detailed information regarding therapy failure.
